The host of The Righteous Capitalists, Doug Zacker, has had a varied career during which he has seen capitalism from many sides: on the ground in communities of need as a Teach For America corps member in Houston and then program director in NYC; studying for an MBA at Georgia State University; developing programs to spread The New York Times through all levels of educational institutions; leading global corporate responsibility efforts for The Home Depot; and helping businesses communicate their purpose through photographs and videos within his own business. All along, from classrooms to boardrooms, Doug has questioned conventional wisdom in an effort to always find solutions that benefit people beyond the bottom line.

Doug grew up in the NYC suburbs of NJ with his single mother and three older sisters. He then lived in the midwest, southeast and Texas, before returning to NJ, where he currently resides in South Orange with his wondrous wife, Marietta, and his three dazzling daughters.

When not working with photography clients or chatting with people for The Righteous Capitalists, Doug is likely in the Adirondacks mountain biking, skiing, fixing stuff, driving with the top down, or listening to the lake.
